The HPI Savage X 4.6 GT-6 1/8 4WD Nitro Monster Truck. while based on the extremely popular original 2002 Savage 21 monster truck platform, this Savage X version has been updated and loaded with upgrades to give the savage a huge boost in power, performance, and durability. While most RC manufacturers have decided to play it safe with electric only models, HPI still believes that real trucks have engines with smoke and noise; therefore, they continue to go all out for the nitro fans
Underneath the body, the chassis is based on the Savage design using the TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) design that gives the drivers a tough, reliable truck, with a fun driving feel and great handling. To keep the fun going for hours and hours, the gearbox and gears are made from a heavy duty material and feature a design to help eliminate damage during hardcore bash sessions. Strong suspension and steering components add extra crash protection during all kinds of driving. This means you can blast through any type of terrain you want, whether it's grass, mud, asphalt, gravel, or anything else.
